6 Easter Egg Hunts And Activities In The Upper Valley

Easter is this Sunday, April 5th, and if you’re looking for something fun to do with the kids there are plenty of events and activities in the area.


King Arthur Baking Class For Kids

The King Arthur Baking Company is holding a baking class for kids on April 4 starting at 9 a.m.. “Kids ages 8-13 will bake and decorate an adorable bunny cake!” the event said. Learn more here.


Spring Egg Scramble

Dothan Brook School is holding an Egg Scramble on April 4 where kids will “search for plastic eggs filled with candy or a small toy,” the event said. Learn more here.


VINS Easter Egg Hunt

Starting April 4 and running through April 10, the Vermont Institute of Natural Science is holding an Easter Egg Hunt. 

“Solve riddles to track down each hidden egg and collect clues along the way. Once you’ve found them all, use your clues to answer one final mystery question. Successful scavengers get to choose a prize from our reward basket!” the event said.

Participants can pick up a worksheet when they arrive at VINS.


CCBA’s Annual Easter Egg Hunt

CCBA is holding its annual Easter Egg Hunt on April 4th. 

“Approximately 2,500 candy-stuffed eggs (safe for nut allergies) are hidden on our playing fields. Bring your own basket and camera to take photos with our Easter bunny!” the event said.

The 10 a.m. hunt is free for kids age 10 and younger.


Killington Resort’s Sunrise Service

On Sunday, April 5 at 6:45 a.m., Killington Resort is holding its annual sunrise nondenominational service. 

“Get an early-morning trip on the K-1 Gondola to view a spring sunrise, followed by a non-denominational service in our Peak Lodge. Easter Sunrise Service is set to begin at 6:45 a.m. at the Killington Peak Lodge,” the event said.

Easter Brunch At Lake Morey Resort

Starting at 10 a.m. on Easter Sunday, Lake Morey Resort is holding its Easter Brunch. Enjoy Breakfast Pastries, Eggs Benedict with Ham, Herb Roasted Beets, Carrots and Butternut Squash, Korean BBQ Boneless Chicken Thighs, and more. The brunch is $60 per person, kids 4-12 are $35 per person, and those under 3 are free. The price includes 9% meals tax and a 20% service charge. Learn more here.
