Celebrate the flavors of fall with a hands-on harvest experience! Young learners will explore the root vegetables of the season by identifying, tasting, and discovering which farm animals enjoy them too. Through farmers market dramatic play, children will connect with autumn’s bounty in an interactive way. (Allergens: gluten, dairy & eggs from our farm) Sensory Story Hour is a movement-rich, interactive experience designed for children ages 3-5 and their caregivers. Through stories, song, poetry, rhymes, sensory exploration, and farm-themed activities, children will build early literacy skills while engaging with the sights, sounds, and textures of the farm. A local Vermont snack will be provided, and advance registration is recommended.
