Are you looking to add a four-legged member to your family? There are many pets looking for their fur-ever home at the Upper Valley Humane Society in Enfield, NH. With so many to highlight, here are the ones who have been waiting the longest.

Zola

 Zola is a mixed breed that is about 2.5 years old that has been at the shelter since Halloween 2025. The shelter describes her as exuberant. 

“Her cheerfulness for life is infectious and can bring a smile to even the grumpiest face. Zola is a young dog who didn’t have the best start to life, but you would never know it with her love of people!” her description said.

The shelter said that she is looking for a family that will take her on adventures and continue teaching her manners. She has already taken an intensive class.

Anastasia

Anastasia is about 3 years old and arrived at the shelter on Feb. 27, 2026.

“This pretty pup has got city girl energy. She is going to walk at the pace she wants to walk. She has places to be and things to smell, you know how it is, so you better keep up. That endless energy means she's always happy to play, but if the weather is nice, she loves to lay in a nice sunny spot with some company,” her description said.

Tipsy

Tipsy is the cat that has been at the shelter the longest, coming in on March 1, 2026. He is about 1.5 years old. The shelter said that he can be a bit shy and take some time to come out of his shell, but he's eager to find his forever home. He enjoys playing with toys and staff think this will be a great way for him to bond with his family.
