New Hampshire

In the 1980s, On Golden Pond, starring Jane Fonda and Katharine Hepburn filmed at New Hampshire lakes and surrounding areas in the summer of 1980. The film was released in 1981.

In the 1990s, Jumanji, starring Robin Williams, was filmed in multiple New Hampshire towns. 

Vermont

In the 1980s, Beetlejuice, starring Alec Baldwin, Geena Davis, and Michael Keaton, filmed several scenes in East Corinth, VT. Also shot in Vermont was Baby Boom, starring Diane Keaton and Sam Shepard. 

In the 2000s, Me, Myself & Irene, starring Jim Carrey and Renee Zellweger shot in several Vermont towns. Also filmed in Vermont was What Lies Beneath, starring Michelle Pfeiffer and Harrison Ford.
