2026 is almost here, which means there is a plethora of new performances to attend. 

Claremont Opera House

The Claremont Opera House has a fun start to 2026, kicking off the year with Recycled Percussion on Jan. 17.

“After becoming famous on America’s Got Talent and building one of the most successful acts on the Las Vegas Strip, Recycled Percussion has taken all their favorite on-stage antics and combined them into one epic show for you. From gut-busting comedy to blistering-fast drumming, and everything in between, this show has been called one of the most unique and entertaining shows in the world for good reason,” the website said.

On Jan. 31, the opera house will be hosting Satisfaction – International Rolling Stones Tribute. The show features the “likes of Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and cast bring a colorful performance to over 50 years of classic hits,” the website said.

On Feb. 27, Hollywood Nights – The Bob Seger Experience is making a stop at the Claremont Opera House.

“This 9-piece New Jersey-based powerhouse has set out to re-create everything about Bob and his music right down to the smallest detail. Determined to leave no stone unturned, Hollywood Nights even tours with a baby grand piano,” the website said.

Lebanon Opera House

The Lebanon Opera House is beginning 2026 with Juston McKinney’s Comedy Year in Review 2025 on Jan. 10. 

“Join Juston as he dishes on his New England life and looks back at 2025. For the past decade, Juston’s year-end shows have played to sold out theaters all over New Hampshire,” the website said.

On Jan. 11, the Upper Valley Community Band will be holding its Winter Concert. The “vibrant program spanning classic band literature, Broadway brilliance, jazz tributes, and cinematic soundscapes,” the website said.

On Jan. 25, Vivaldi’s Four Seasons will be on the stage. 

“Filippo Ciabatti conducts this all-Vivaldi program featuring one of Baroque music’s most famous works, The Four Seasons, with Upper Valley Baroque’s own Susanna Ogata performing the stunningly virtuosic violin solos. The program opens with works for strings and soprano, including his gorgeous In furore iustissimae irae, performed by the 'exemplary, impassioned' Nola Richardson,” the website said.

The Rocky Horror Picture Show presented by the Lebanon Opera House will play on Jan. 31 after “last year’s screening was a sold-out smash.”

“Free prop kits are provided to the first 400 audience members! Pre-show shenanigans begin in the lobby at 8 PM,” the website said.

Northern Stage

Now through Jan. 4, Northern Stage is showing Peter & Wendy, an adaptation of J.M. Barrie’s beloved Peter Pan. 

“Featuring professional actors and emerging young talent, Eric Love’s reimagining of this beloved classic will spark imagination and delight in audiences of all ages,” the website said.

In February, the Northern Stage is showing The World Is Not Silent by Don X. Nguyen.

“The World is Not Silent tells the funny and poignant story of Don, a first-generation Vietnamese American astrophotographer, and his father, Dau. Don grew up speaking English and never learned his father’s native Vietnamese, so when Dau begins to lose his hearing, their already fragile connection is tested further. Determined to bridge the gap, Don learns sign language, opening the door to a new way of understanding between them,” the website said.
