The festive season is practically here, which means it’s time for the annual Gingerbread Festival in Norwich, VT.

On Dec. 6, The Family Place is holding its 23rd Gingerbread Festival at Tracy Hall from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The festival will include a “Gingerbread House Gallery, filled with homemade gingerbread creations from local community members that are auctioned off to raise funds for The Family Place,” the event’s Facebook page said.

The event also includes cookie decorating, face painting, a live gingerbread house decorating demonstration, gifts for kids and families, lunch and baked goods.

The event is free but donations are encouraged.
