4 Brewfests & Harvest Festivals To Visit This Fall

Before it gets too cold to enjoy the outdoors with those who’d rather stay bundled up inside during the winter, head on out to a brewfest or harvest festival this fall.
Killington Brewfest
On Sept. 20, the annual Killington Brewfest is happening at Killington Resort.
“Since 1995, craft beer lovers have been flocking to the Green Mountains of Vermont to sample the finest brews in New England during the pinnacle of fall foliage. The event features around 40 breweries pouring dozens of craft beer styles, a vendor village, and live music,” the website said.
The festival is happening from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. with a VIP ticketholders getting in at noon.

Siptemberfest
The Siptemberfest is happening in Fayston, VT, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sept. 20. Tickets are $60 each. They include 10 tastings and a souvenir glass. Designated driver tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the gate. Learn more here.
Von Trapp Lodge & Resort’s Oktoberfest
The 16th annual Oktoberfest is happening at von Trapp Lodge & Resort on Sept. 20. There are two sessions: 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. with each session being five hours long.
“Adult tickets include your first beer, an Oktoberfest souvenir mug, an app, entree and live entertainment. Students include everything except the beer and get a soda instead and Youth get an app and a soda. Dessert will be available for purchase a la carte the day of,” the website said.

Vermont Wine & Harvest Festival
The Vermont Wine & Harvest Festival is happening on Sept. 19 and 20. Friday includes a wine stroll and a soup competition. Saturday includes the grand tasting and the artisan expo.
“Set in the backdrop of our world-renowned Vermont fall foliage, attendees of the 16th Annual Vermont Wine & Harvest Festival will discover, savor and enjoy Vermont vintners, small specialty food producers, chefs, painters, publishers, cheese makers, potters, jewelers, photographers, and farmers,” the website said.
