If you’re looking for a fun date night idea or a place to gather with friends, wine tasting is a great option. There are several places to try a wide variety of wine.


Putnam’s vine/yard

Every Tuesday, Putnam’s vine/yard in White River Junction, VT, offers blind wine tasting from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. 

“Enjoy a red and white - with a guided Putnam’s Tasting Sheet - so you can learn more while you enjoy a glass in our Secret Garden! Challenge your taste buds and uncover some hidden gems!” the website said.

Haunting Whisper Vineyard & Spirits

In Danbury, NH, Haunting Whisper Vineyard & Spirits offers wine tasting Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday. For $20, you can try six samples. If you buy $20 in products, the fee is waived. Learn more and make a reservation to secure a spot here


Putney Mountain Winery and Spirits

Putney Mountain Winery and Spirits in Putney, VT, offers tastings Thursday through Monday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

“At the winery you can taste and learn about our wines from one of our knowledgeable staff. You are welcome to linger over a glass of wine in our comfortable tasting area,” the website said.
