Summer weather is starting to make its entrance, which means more and more events will be held outdoors, including concerts. Here’s a list of upcoming concerts that you may want to attend.

Hillside at Artistree

From June 19 to Sept. 11 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., the Hillside at Artistree is holding outdoor concerts featuring musicians from the area. Concergoers are encouraged ot pack a picnic, relax and enjoy the music.

VSO Summer Festival Tour - Symphony of Stars: South Pomfret

On July 5 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., VSO is celebrating its 90th birthday with music by Sufjan Stevens, Margaret Bonds, Vermont’s own Erik Nielsen, John Philip Sousa marches, John Williams’ E.T. score and more – plus spectacular solos from VSO’s musicians! 

Music Director Andrew Crust leads the ensemble featuring Principal Cello John Dunlop, Principal Clarinet Kelli O’Connor, and Principal Percussion D. Thomas Toner. Bring your picnic and relax under balmy summer skies with your Vermont Symphony Orchestra!

Lake Morey Resort

Lake Morey’s Summer Concert Series is kicking off on July 3. Gates open at 6 p.m. The show starts at 8 p.m. on the 1st Fairway. Come enjoy lawn games, fire pits, woodfire pizza, food trucks, tiki bars and more.
