Killington Resort Hosting Free Harvest Faire On October 7

On Saturday, October 7, Killington Resort is
hosting the family-friendly Harvest Faire. This free event goes from 10 am
to 5 pm and includes a wide range of activities, including face painting and
horse-drawn hayrides for children and axe throwing for the kids at heart.
The event will include two competitions with prizes: apple launching and stein hoisting. Participants will have a chance to win lift tickets for the upcoming winter season. Each stein-hoisting participant will receive a souvenir Killington mug. The winners from the men’s and women’s divisions will take home the grand prize. Signups for stein hoisting are on a first-come, first-served basis.
In the afternoon, SP4 will play live music spanning a wide range of genres like funk, R&B, and jazz.
