Create A Movie Theater In Your Backyard

While the weather still allows, take the opportunity to
create your own outdoor movie theater — in the backyard, on the porch, in a tent,
or wherever your heart desires. You can be as minimal or as extravagant as you
want with your DIY movie theater; all you need to get started are some kind of
projector, like this simple one from Home Depot,
and something to project on, like this portable screen from Walmart or
this inflatable one from Target, or a
blank wall, sheet, or the inside of a tent.
If you need a tent, consider shopping at EMS, and if you need outdoor furniture to set the scene, consider a local furniture store like Pompanoosuc Mills, Brown Furniture, or a consignment shop like Consign and Design in West Lebanon.
Next, gather some snacks to make your outdoor movie theater experience complete. Try some local organic popcorn kernels from Hurricane Flats, snacks and drinks from Co-op Food Stores, and some candy from Red Kite Candy in Hanover or the Sweet Spot Candy Shoppe in Quechee.
Once you have your snacks acquired and your projector set up, invite some friends over or enjoy a family movie night from the comfort of your yard!
