5 Pets from The Upper Valley Humane Society That Are Looking For A loving Home

Mar 21, 2023 11:07PM ● By Stephanie Hatley
For over 50 years, the Upper Valley Humane Society has strengthened the bonds between pets and the people they love as well as shown compassion for all living creatures that visit the shelter. The Upper Valley Humane Society provides vaccinations, spay/neuter services, emergency boarding, rehoming, and other services. Rather than an application, the UVHS offers potential owners a survey to properly match them with a companion animal.

Adoption fees range from $25 to $250 for cats and $250 to $450 for dogs depending on age. You can also adopt rabbits, ferrets, chinchillas, guineas pigs, birds, rodents, or other small animals for $10 to $50. If you’re looking for a special pet to join your family, the UVHS will help you find the perfect match. Let’s meet a few animals that are looking for a home!

Aggie:

Aggie is an eight-month-old female cat who came to the UVHS from Florida. She loves hiding under the covers and snuggling. Because she enjoyed playing with her brother, she may enjoy another feline playmate.

Titan:

Titan is an older dog at eight years one month old. He’s a large-breed mix that won’t require much training. He prefers a quiet home without children or other dogs.

Mandy:

Mandy is one of the youngest dogs at UVHS at one year three months old. Like Titan, she’s a large-breed mix. She would love someone to take her on long walks and play tug-of-war.

Comet & Vixen:

Comet and Vixens are two four-month-old rats who love snuggling up together. They also enjoy digging and love peanut butter! If you’re looking for a smaller caged pet, this lovable pair might be for you!

Maxwell:

Maxwell is a cream and black rabbit who just turned two years old. He’s very sweet and enjoys friendly pets. If you’re looking for a cute bunny to bring home, Maxwell might be the perfect pet!
