Oct 14, 2022 12:39PM ● By Rose Terami
The Head of the Charles Regatta, one of the most popular New England rowing events of the year, is just a week away!

Scheduled for the weekend of October 21 to 23, the Head of the Charles is the perfect day trip or weekend away destination this fall to soak up the last of the season’s warmth before the harsh cold sets in. Races begin bright and early around 7 each morning and last throughout the day. The diverse regatta lineup appeals to anyone who loves rowing and has something fun for all to watch.

Spectators have a variety of options for where they can watch the races. The Eliot Bridge Enclosure, Weld Exhibition, and Reunion Village are some of the locations that offer great views, food, and merchandise to enjoy throughout the weekend. Spectator ticket prices vary by location and can be purchased online in advance here. Find parking options and directions here.

Join this celebration of the year for the rowing community—it’s not one you’ll want to miss!
