Rain or shine, the Stowe Foliage Arts Festival is scheduled from Friday, October 7 to Sunday, October 9, thanks to the large Camelot tents that provide protection from the elements. Featuring more than 150 artists and artisans selling their handmade creations in a beautiful outdoor setting, the festival will feature live music in the dining tent all three days by popular local and regional musicians as well as magic arts. Delicious festival fare by local and regional food maven entrepreneurs, as well as refreshing beverages, including beer and wine, will also be available. There will be live demonstrations by master craftspeople throughout the weekend as well.

Craft producers is a small company based in Charlotte, Vermont, that has been organizing shows of this type for many years. It is a private company whose mission is to provide great events, including opportunities for participating artists and vendors to sell their handmade work, food, and services. The three-day event, from 10 am to 5 pm, is the quintessential place to experience the classic New England fall season. A list of all the exhibitors at the show can be found on the website under respective menus, the details of which may change if there are late applicants or last-minute changes. Before and after the event, attendants should be able to check the Art & Craft Exhibitors page for photos and links for favorite artisans.

The festival site is in Stowe, Vermont, at Topnotch Field at 3420 Mountain Road. Tickets are available for sale at the gate—cash only. They can also be purchased online in advance at EVENTBRITE. Admission is $10 per day or $12 for a weekend pass. Children 14 and under are admitted for free; however, any providers of special activities such as a bounce house zone, pony rides, or a craft tent, these providers may charge their own individual prices for their services. For more information, contact or call (802) 316-5019.
