Sep 12, 2022 04:07PM ● By Rose Terami
This year, the Tunbridge World’s Fair in Tunbridge, Vermont, celebrates its 150th anniversary!

Filled with local tradition and spirit, the Tunbridge World’s Fair is a four-day quaint country fair experience and a delight for all ages. Find the fair at the Tunbridge Fairgrounds, located at 1 Fairgrounds Lane in Tunbridge.

The fair hosts a variety of fun exhibits, entertainment, and activities, including livestock barns and agricultural events (horse show, swine show, pony pulling, oxen pulling, sheep show, harness racing, etc.), rides and games, local food vendors, craft beer, a Tunbridge Fair gift shop, musical stage performances, dancing, bingo, and more.

Turn back the clock and visit Tunbridge in the 19th century on Antique Hill, where period-accurate reenactors tell stories of an older way of life with demonstrations. Try some fresh apple cider, watch how maple syrup is made, and check out the Civil War tent. Nearby, catch a show under the Cabot Tent, like a contra dance by the Larkin Dancers, juggling, or a magic show.

Make sure to visit Floral Hall to see people’s creative entries in a variety of categories, such as crafts, baked goods, photography, and more. There, you’ll also find this year’s tallest sunflower, biggest pumpkin, and funkiest-looking garden veggies on display.

The dates for the upcoming 2022 fair are September 15 to 18 (Thursday to Sunday). Admission costs $10 to $15 per person depending on the day. Season passes (valid all four days of the fair) can be purchased for $40 per person. Tickets and passes are available by mail order or in person at the time of the fair. Children under 12 qualify for free admission.

You won’t want to miss the 150th Tunbridge World’s Fair. Bring friends and family and come enjoy an age-old local tradition this September!
