Stop At Some Of These Fun Spots Along Route 100 Near Stowe, Vermont

In Vermont, Route 100 runs along the Green Mountain National Forest, and you’ll find many attractions and views worthy of a stop along the way.  While it goes on for 216 miles which spans from the Canadian border all the way to Massachusetts, We've found a few spots not too far from home for you to check out.

 

1) Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream Factory, 1281 Waterbury-Stowe Road, Route 100, Waterbury Village Historic District, VT

  • Visit the Flavor Graveyard.
  • Eat some ice cream!

 

2) Cold Hollow Cider Mill, 3600 Waterbury-Stowe Road, Waterbury Center, VT

  • Try some fresh apple cider.
  • Browse the shop.
  • Watch how cider is made.
  • Try some apple cider donuts.

 

3) Cabot Farmers’ Store, 2657 Waterbury-Stowe Road, Waterbury Center, VT

  • Taste-test some cheese.
  • Browse the shop for other local treats.

 

4) Trapp Family Lodge, 700 Trapp Hill Road, Stowe, VT

  • Stay overnight.
  • Grab some food.
  • Enjoy a drink.
  • Take a historical tour of the property.

 

5) Moss Glen Falls, Stowe, VT

  • View the 68-foot waterfall.
  • Take a short (or longer) hike.
