Happy Birthday to Dr. Seuss Who Would Of Been 118 Today

Happy birthday to Dr. Seuss, who would have been 118 this year. Theodor Seuss Geisel attended Dartmouth College and graduated in 1925. He was the editor-in-chief of the Dartmouth Jack-O-Lantern, the college humor magazine. When Geisel was caught drinking on campus during prohibition, he used the name Seuss to continue his work with the magazine and remained under the alias for the rest of his career.

Geisel was an illustrator, poet, animator, cartoonist, and filmmaker. Although he produced for the United States Army, Vanity, and Life, he is the most well known for writing and illustrating more than 60 children’s books which are loved by generations young and old.
