A frozen, 600-acre Lake Morey in Fairlee, VT means it’s time to hit the ice and play some old-fashioned pond hockey. Several exciting adult pond hockey tournaments are hosted by the Lake Morey Resort each winter.

The Frostbite Face-Off, for example, is being held January 28th-30th this year. The battle for the coveted Yeti Cup ends up with a prize in the 21+ men’s and women’s tournaments.

The 12th annual Vermont Pond Hockey Championship will take place February 4th-6th and will not disappoint participants and visitors with a high level of play, a fun, and engaging environment, and giving all teams and players the best pond hockey experience.

Right next to the rinks is the Lake Morey Resort, with all the amenities including a restaurant, bar, pool, and hot tub, who will sponsor theme parties on Friday and Saturday night.

Registration should be by a team for the division that fits the teams skill level but all levels are welcome. Lake Morey has state-of-the-art equipment, including Zambonis.
