Get Prepared For Holiday Travel with These 4 Tips

Dec 16, 2021 03:34PM ● By Kaitlyn Malone

While we all try to plan ahead, sometimes the holidays can sneak upon us. If you are planning on traveling this holiday season, here are a few things to think about when preparing for your trip.

Pack Some Snacks

You can't go wrong with a crueler from Lou's Restaurant & Bakery or some tasty nibbles from King Arthur Baking Company. You should also set your GPS. If you've got young kids, make sure there is an iPad handy for some fun holiday movies to distract them during travel.

Don't Show Up Empty-Handed

Bring your host/hostess some lovely Carmel from Red Kite Candy or a sweet treat from My Brigadeiro. If you want something other than food, Simon Pearce has the perfect gift for you to bring. You can find more ideas in our Holiday Gift Guide.

Don't Forget

Make sure to check for local Covid-19 mandates before travel and bring a mask and your vaccine card, especially if you're traveling out of state. We suggest bringing an extra suitcase for all those presents too, which can be used on the way back for any gifts you may receive.

Save the Miles

If you'd rather sit back take a snooze on the way to the airport, don't forget that the Dartmouth Coach does daily drives to and from Logan airport in Boston.

Safe travels and happy holidays!
