Great View Roller Skating is closing.

After more than 4 decades in the rollerskating business, owners Peter and Diane Martin have decided they want to close their doors. Instead, they plan on converting the 16,000-foot space into a Pet Care facility.

This decision comes from a decline in attendance over the years at the rink. The Martins have been putting their own money and savings into their business, and realized that it simply wasn't feasible to continue to remain open.

After placing Great View on the market in 2017 for $850,000 with no luck, that's when the Martins decided to pivot and open their own pet care facility. There is so much open space for animals to play and stretch, it seemed like a great option.

The rink will remain open until May or June, depending on attendance. So grab your skates and enjoy Enfield, New Hampshire's last roller rink while you still can!

What's your favorite memory there? Let us know in the comments!
