Ready to break out your sneakers and trot in some fresh spring mud? Want to break a sweat after months of hibernating through the long winter? The Easy-as-Pie 5K and Family Fun Run - start: May 12, 2018 10:00AM in Norwich, Vermont on Saturday, May 12 might be the perfect way to start your spring runs off right. Bring your whole family and all your friends to this fun-filled event!

The Easy-as-Pie 5k is presented by the Child Care Center in Norwich, and all funds raised go to sponsoring this organization. The entry fee per participant ranges from $10 to $25 depending on age group. The location for the start of the race is the Norwich Town Green, which is at 259 South Main Street. Arrive at 10 am to start your registration process and maybe get a few warm-up paces and stretches in before the event officially begins at 11 am. You’ll get to enjoy some of the lovely, quiet streets around the Green in Norwich, as well as the start and finish at the beautiful gazebo.

The highlight of this particular 5k is the post-race pie party! You’ll really appreciate a well-deserved slice of pie by the end of the race. With its fruity, crusty deliciousness, it’s the perfect spring snack after exerting yourself.

Another highlight of this race is the craft-making activity after the event for Mother’s Day, which follows on Sunday, May 13. Your kids will love having the chance to get crafty with friends and make something special. And, as with any Norwich event, the best part is the gathering of Upper Valley community members before, during, and after the race. Come on out to revive those winter muscles, and stay for the pie and fun with family and friends!
