More than 100 Beers will be Offered at the Vermont Brewers Festival

Mar 22, 2018 12:46PM ● By Linda Ditch
If local beer is your passion, then head to Killington Resort this weekend for the Vermont Brewers Festival. More than 100 beers will be offered, including 30 exclusive brews created just for this event. Enjoy the start of spring sitting by the fire pits at the K1 lodge while sipping on your choice of a 3-, 6-, or 9-ounce sample.

There will be two sessions: Noon–3pm and 4–7pm. Tickets for each session are $42. If there are tickets available to sell at the door, they will be $45 each. Gates will open a half-hour before each session so attendees can enjoy the many food and retail vendors. (Please note that most retail vendors are cash only.) You must be 21 or older to get a ticket, and admission includes a 2018 souvenir tasting glass plus 15 tasting tickets. (Designated driver tickets are $10 at the door.)

You may choose your sample size: 1 ticket = 3 oz, 2 tickets = 6 oz, and 3 tickets = 9 oz. Additional beer tickets are available at the Vermont Brewers Association book and cost $2 per ticket with a maximum 5 additional tickets per wristband. There are no exceptions.

With more than 100 beers to choose from, it’s a good idea to make your tasting decisions before you arrive. Beers may be subject to change, and since no one can predict the demand for certain beers, the event organizers can’t guarantee availability of any beer listed.
Check the weather before you go. The festival is open snow, rain, or shine, so please dress accordingly.
