Design: Creates and appreciates handmade objects that go beyond function and are beautiful, extraordinary, unique, or emotionally engaging.

Story: Communicates effectively with others by creating and appreciating compelling narrative.

Symphony: Synthesizes ideas, sees the big picture, crosses boundaries, and combines disparate pieces into a meaningful, harmonious whole.

Empathy: Forges relationships and feels compassion for others and for the world of nature.

Play: Engages in problem solving, which stimulates flexibility, humor, risk taking, curiosity, and inventive thinking.

Meaning: Pursues passion, desires, and enduring ideas. Derives a sense of purpose, inspiration, and fulfillment from making choices using higher order thinking skills.
