Memorial Day is just around the corner which means...Summer is offically coming! Whether you're planning to throw a party or go to party or simply just have a nice relaxing day to yourself try some of these recipes to make that day special.

Cornbread Salad

Assemble the salad as you would like a trifle by layering all the ingredients. Make your own cornbread or buy it at the store to make your life super easy along with corn, peppers, cheese and so more more.

Mini Pork Cheeseburgers

Eat one or eat 6, these one-two biters are meaty and are easy to make. Portion out meat ahead of time and throw on the grill for only minutes. Have all the fixing on the side for your guest to assemble.

Crunch Lemonade Drumsticks

While we mostly grill and barbecue during this holiday, this is the perfect recipe to make ahead of time. This lemon marinade takes at least 4 hours to penetrate the skin though so plan ahead. Prefect served room temperature or even cold.

Antipasto Salad

Another make ahead side dish which can be served cold or even room temperature. Toss in all your Italian favorites like olives, cheese, salami, peppers with any shaped pasta you like.

Strawberry Country Cake

Rustic in name but not lacking in flavor. Use bright flavors like lemon and lime zest to infuse the cake to make it pop. Add strawberries and whip cream as frosting.

Watermelon Sours

You can't say summer without thinking of watermelon. Perfect drink to kick off the party!
