From 4 to 7 pm, bundle up and kick off the holiday season with a chili cook-off, giveaways, and raffles at downtown Hanover businesses and a visit from Jolly Old St. Nick himself at Mascoma Bank.

The chili cook-off is happening on Allen Street from 5:30 to 6:30 pm or until samples run out. The public is invited to sample chili from Black House Real Estate, Boloco, Berkshire Hathaway Verani Realty, Julie Glynn, Author & Life Coach, PINE Restaurant, and Visions for Creative Housing before voting for their favorite.

Throughout the event, Fisher Financial Advisor elves will be on Main Street bringing the holiday cheer with fun interactive displays, seasonal games, mocktails and cocktails, delicious snacks, holiday music, and free raffles for exceptional gifts.

The tree lighting will take place at 5:10 pm on the Green. Cookies and hot chocolate will be served, courtesy of the Office of the President.
