Whaleback Mountain is hosting its 3rd annual Fall Flannel Fest to celebrate its 10 years of being a non-profit. Whaleback has been around since the 1950s. Their mission is to have an affordable and accessible winter sports destination for all to enjoy. Whaleback relies on community support to sustain their mission, helping with maintenance, being able to have low-cost after-school programs, and providing free lessons and skiing/riding for community members.

The Flannel Fest is Whaleback’s annual fundraiser. The celebration fest will take place Thursday, October 12, starting at 6 p.m. Tickets are priced at $50. Festivities will include a sneak peek at the new ski lift installation project, music by Tad Davis, samplings of Whaleback’s catering menu, a silent auction, a giveaway, and a taste of Whaleback’s very own crisp Mountain Ale.
