Get in the Fall Spirit at the New Hampshire Pumpkin Festival

Calling all cornhole players, foodies, and fall lovers! The New Hampshire Pumpkin Festival is happening October 27 and 28 in downtown Laconia. This event is jam-packed with fun activities for the whole family.

On Friday from 4 to 8 p.m., festivalgoers can explore the KidsZone, the Great New England Craft & Artisan Show, the Hector’s Beer Garden, thousands of pumpkins, and more. At 4:30 p.m. on Friday, the two-hour dinner train will depart from the historic downtown station. Dinner includes a hand-carved turkey. Boarding begins at 4:15 p.m. Tickets are $59.95 and can be purchased here. Friday will wrap up with the jack-o-lantern lighting at 5:30 pm, which includes laser lights provided by New Spectrum Lighting and a zombie walk at 6 p.m.

The second day of the festival will kick off with the Runaway Pumpkin 5K/10K Run/Walk at Opechee Park. To register click here. The rest of Saturday will include pie-eating contests, an art walk, a children’s costume parade, and more. The festival will wrap up with the jack-o-lantern lighting at 5:45pm, the Recycled Percussion Junk Rock Superheros and a costume contest at 7 pm, and a performance by Amy Grant at 8pm.
